I run DnD games set in Eberron, because it's a setting I know very well and love even more. My favorite stories combine mystery and (sometimes subtle) horror, and I do my best to incorporate stories that my players want to tell into the overarching narrative. It is my strong belief that mechanical rules of the game are there to ensure balance between PCs (and I am very familiar with them and how they often fail to do so ;) ), but I do like to bend them to give players cinematic and cool moments, and to enable me to tell an engaging story.
